Question by Lai Lani G: WESTERN DENTAL procedures?
I have an issue i had braces before, i feel western dental has no idea what there doing they put this tpa appliance in my mouth for what. i do not have crowding at all they said it's there cause , i have a small jaw hmm none of my other ortho's said that but, my other ortho said i do have an over bite which is correct western dental never once said, i had a over bite it seems to me western dental puts these tpa's in everyone's mouth for what? then they wanted to put my braces on in step's why, they said it's the right way no it's not they were gluing things that had no reason to be there unless i had braces on to connect them with wires. there brackets keeps breaking im no much pain never had this much pain in my life not happy with there services scared they are going to rune my teeth more than it was before. i have the cement all over my teeth and over my teeth. i feel as if they glued my teeth all together on the bottom.. i want to break the contract i only started in jan of this year does anyone know what to do?? im going to my old ortho for another op.. has anyone been threw this mess..? im mad im in pain, i can't eat the tpa appliance is in for no reason i feel my teeth line up perfectly with my bottom teeth i would take my own braces off if i could.. they want to see me every month they didnt tighten nothing.. help please... thanks

I work for western dental and am ashamed of how they treat patients.I work for the orthodontic department.Number 1 issue is money. they looove to get patients to sign contracts , then when its time to put on braces they have employees who are not educated applying brackets if they even have brackets in stock I am very sorry that the patients are so mislead. As for your tpa, i hope the doctor cemented it on and not the assistant, as for putting on braces in steps they do that because they don't have them in stock or your deep bite would bite them off ...or they may be waiting for other changes. you can stop treatment any time you like...legally they have to take your braces off..although you signed a contract ,you are still liable for the payments.also,, if you finish treatment before the estimated treatment length,, they will keep you in braces so they dont have to pro rate and refund money....
